To channel is not a new concept on earth and has been experienced by many beings throughout the generations of life. Some people have channelled the energies of a spirit being and have come under the name of trance or transfiguration. This is when a being from the light enters and takes over the body as the soul that inhabits the body steps aside to allow the process to flow. All types of spirit beings can communicate in this way from deceased loved ones to ascended masters. It is my belief that trance can be a dangerous and slower form of communication. I say this because it takes a while for the spirit being to become comfortable in the body and the being can be affected by loud noises, bright lights and the touch of another being. For people who are not used to watching a person in trance, it can bring a fearful emotion to the surface because of the change in the person’s body. Over the years this form of communication has been evolving into channelling. Channelling the words and energies of spirit is becoming more commonplace in our lives today. The process is still evolving and we aim to gain a seamless join between the vessel and the spirit being that is communicating. A channel is built by spirit from the crown chakra; this is like a rod that flows upwards. This open rod allows the communicator from spirit to send their energies down through the vessel's crown chakra and into their being. The same happens when a being channels healing energies through their body. So we call the process channelling because of the open rod or channel from the crown chakra that has been made. The spirit being then sends its energy down and uses the vocabulary that it has access to from the mind of the vessel to speak and communicate. In this way you may not notice that you are speaking to a spirit being or ascended master because they use the voice and vocabulary of the vessel to explain their own thoughts and wisdom. A key that allows you to tell if a being is channelling or the difference between each spirit being is the energy and the way in which the sentences are formed. For the vessel that is channelling a spirit being, the energy that is felt indicates the presence of a being. Many feel it in different parts of their body, pressure on the head, a lump in the throat, energy around the head or on the tongue. It is mostly a different sensation for each individual. It can take practise to be a channel, to distinguish between the energies, to let go, allowing the being to speak through you and to trust even when people may not believe in your work. Spirit aims to gain the seamless join between humans and spirit in life so that each work together, especially at this time when help is needed on the planet. By forming a seamless join when channelling allows spirit guides to communicate, give guidance and love to a being that the vessel meets when going about their daily routine. The new age channelling also allows the vessel to have control over their body, the vessel can either call on a being to communicate or if a being is trying to communicate and the vessel doesn’t feel that the time is right they can stop the being from entering the situation. Channelling can take place in all environments. This control allows the vessel to experience the energy for themselves, hearing and learning from the wisdom that has been spoken. Each individual has the ability to channel and will in time begin to open their divine channel. Some wish to channel loved ones who walked on the earth (this is not mediumship) while others devote their time to the energies of angels, ascended masters and beings alike. However a vessel communicates with the creator and the light helpers and however they radiate the light is up to the individual. It is the fact that you are receptive to love and light, allowing it to flow though your body and to share it with others that is of most importance in the world now. You may have your own individual way of expressing your light but this makes life on the earth exciting. Blessings, Lord Kuthumi |
